Catawba Regional COG Board Member, Dr. Laura Ullrich, provided an Economic Update to the Southeast Regional Directors Institute (SERDI). One-hundred COG and Workforce Board and staff members from regional development organizations across the southeast participated in the virtual event. Dr. Ullrich discussed economic and employment trends throughout the United States and also provided information about demographic changes and technology developments which are driving labor force shifts in the southeastern U.S. and nationally.
